Joint Venture For A $30 Million Federal Contract

The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded a $30 million military contract to a joint venture between Hawaii contractors RMA Architects Inc. and Architects Pacific Inc. for work at various locations under the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Pacific area of responsibility.

The projects consist of new construction of base development facilities, including, but not limited to, bachelor enlisted quarters, consolidated club, fire station, fitness center, dining facility, theater, exchange, school, headquarters building, administration building, aircraft hangar, maintenance shop, distribution warehouse and armory.

Work will be performed at various Navy and Marine Corps facilities and other government facilities within the NAVFAC Pacific area of responsibility, with 70 percent of the work to be done in Guam and 30 percent in Hawaii.

The work is expected to be completed by February 2022.

The contract was competitively procured online with seven proposals received. NAVFAC Pacific at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam is the contracting activity.” – Anna Hrushka
